The story of Vivek Agnihotri's directorial debut Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets is definitely not run-of-the-mill. Ditto for the casting. Featuring Anil Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Irrfan, Emraan Hashmi, Arshad Warsi, Sushma Reddy and Miss India Universe 2004 Tanushree Dutta, Chocolate is slated for a September release.
Composed by Pritam -- of the chartbuster Dhoom fame -- the soundtrack features eight tracks and one theme.
Sonu Nigam's effervescent crooning elevates Halka halka sa yeh sama to the breezy and sufficiently zingy category. The soundtrack features an upbeat remixed version of the same as well.
His songs Bheege honth tere and Janab-e-ali may have been huge draws but Kunal Ganjawala's infectious enthusiasm, in the racy albeit bland Panaahon mein mohabbat ki does not rub off on the listener. The singer, accompanied by Suzan, gets lucky the second time round in the rocking Khalish.
