When Chiranjeevi visited Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan, who is busy shooting for his co-production, Sardaar Gabbar Singh, also produced by Sharrath Marar, recently had a surprise visitor on the sets.

It was his elder brother Chiranjeevi, who wanted to spend some time with him.

Directed by KS Ravindra, the shooting is on at Jubilee Hills. It is slated for release in April.

A woman director’s maiden film

Padesave

Chunia (Sabiha) will finally make her directorial debut with Padesave after working with big directors like Raghavendra Rao and SS Rajamouli as well as Akkineni Nagarjuna’s films.

Padesave is produced by her under the Ayan Creations banner.

The audio release was held recently, with personalities like Raghavendra Rao, Nagarjuna, Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad (Rajya Sabha MP), Tammareddy Bharadwaj, Prakash Raj and director Jaya B in attendance.

At the audio launch, Nagarjuna had said, "Although there have been many triangular love stories, Padesave is different. This film has to be watched by males especially. It tells how wives and girls think how their husbands and boyfriends should be. I supported Chuniya because I always had faith in her talent. You will walk out with a smile on your face after watching Padesave."

Padesave stars Karthik Raju, Nithya Shetty and Sam.

Kanna Kunappareddy is the cinematographer, Anup Reubens has composed the music, Ananth Sriram is the lyricist and Dharmendra K is the editor.

Padesave is slated to release in February.

Nani’s next film gets good buzz

Nani's film

Nani had a good 2015, thanks to his hits Yevade Subramaniam and Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, which also got critical acclaim.

His next film Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha is ready for release. Scripted and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, it is produced by Gopichand Achanta, Ram Achanta and Anil Sunkara of 14 Reels Entertainment.

Mehreen Kaur makes her debut in Telugu cinema with this film. The cast also includes Brahmaji, Prudhvi, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj.

Vishal Chandrasekhar (from the AR Rahman Music School) is the music director, Yuvraj is the cinematographer and Gautham Raju is the editor of the film.

There is positive talk about this film whose trailer was launched by Mahesh Babu at the audio release.

Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha will release in February.
