Salman Khan, who is riding high on the success of Sultan, recently launched the trailer of his brother Sohail Khan's directorial venture Freaky Ali.
Sohail and Arbaaz Khan were present along with the film's cast.
While the Khan brothers came together under one roof after a long time, it was Amy Jackson who stole the thunder. The British model-turned-actress wore a Paolo Sebastian dress and looked absolutely gorgeous.
A look at the pictures from the trailer launch.
At the trailer launch, Salman revealed that he wanted to be a part of Freaky Ali but Sohail decided to rope in Arbaaz instead.
Not many are aware of the fact that Sohail finished the shoot of Freaky Ali in just 38 days.
Salman even joked about it at the event saying,"If I had been in the film, it would have taken 138 days."
Amy, who plays Nawaz's love interest in the film, was initially scared to act opposite him.
"I fell in love with Nawaz on screen after watching Gangs of Wasseypur. So my love story starts with him from there. I was quite nervous to act alongside him. He is an excellent actor," she said.
Model-turned-actor Jas Arora and Nawazuddin Siddiqui play golfers in the film.
For his role, Jas especially learnt the sport.
"I have learnt golf for the film," Jas said. "Since the plot of the film revolves around sports, especially golf, I had to be a part of the film. Plus, who doesn't want to work with Nawazuddin? The film helped me explore my credentials as an actor and gave me a new sport (to learn). I am thankful to Salman Khan and Sohail Khan for this opportunity."
Arbaaz, meanwhile, plays a gangster but his role isn't negative.
Talking about his character, Arbaaz said, "I play Maqsood in the film, who is a sidekick. He is a gangster, a petty thief but when Ali (Nawazuddin) is in trouble, he helps him."
Freaky Ali is scheduled to release on September 9.
But it won't be a solo release as Nitya Mehra's Baar Baar Dekho starring Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif is coming out on the same day.
"I hope Baar Baar Dekho (produced) by Farhan Akhtar and Riteish Sidhwani does well and even we do well. Both the films are of different genre. We have got a niche audience and there is good space for both of us," Sohail said.
