Love does conquer all in Bollywood.

Shahid Kapoor, 34, who tied the knot with 21-year-old Delhi girl Mira Rajput on July 7, has joined the esteemed club of Bollywood stars who fell for women much younger than them.

Here, take a look:

Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu

The veteran actor married Saira Banu, his costar from films like Bairaag and Gopi, when he was 44 and she was 22.

You know what that means, right?

She was 22 years younger than him!

Moving on...

Sanjay and Maanyata Dutt

There's an age gap of 19 years between Sanjay Dutt and his third wife Maanyata.

The star couple, who are parents to twins Shahran and Iqra, tied the knot in 2008, when Dutt was 49 and Maanyata (real name Dilnawaz Sheikh) was 30.

Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia

Dimple Kapadia got married to then superstar Rajesh Khanna at the age of 16, even before the release of her Bollywood debut Bobby.

At the time of their nuptials in 1973, Khanna was 31, making him 15 years her senior!

Vinod and Kavita Khanna

After he returned from his stint as a sanyasi in the Osho ashram, Vinod Khanna married Kavita, then 30, in 1990.

He was 44 at the time.

The age gap between the two is 14 years.

Kamal Haasan and Gautami Tadimalla

While his second wife Sarika is only six years younger than him, veteran actor Kamal Haasan's current partner, actress and Papanasam costar Gautami is 13 years younger than him.

The duo have been in a relationship since 2005.

Dharmendra and Hema Malini

Hema Malini is 66 to husband Dharmendra's 79.

The age gap between these two veterans is 13 years.

Veteran baddie Shakti Kapoor, who is married to Padmini Kolhapure's sister Shivangi, fell in love with her on the sets of Kismet in which she played Mithun Chakraborty's kid sister.

So strong was the opposition to their alliance due to the age gap of 12 years, that the duo had to elope.

They got hitched in 1982, when Shivangi was 18, and earned Kapoor the title of a cradle-snatcher.

Cut to 2015, the couple is proud parents to actors Shraddha and Siddhanth Kapoor.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's well-publicised romance took off on the sets of Tashan in 2007.

After much speculation, the star couple made it official in 2012.

The fact that Kareena, now 34, is younger than her nawab husband by exactly a decade didn't miss our attention.

After his marriage with childhood sweetheart Reena Dutta fell apart, Aamir Khan got close to then assistant director Kiran Rao.

They got married in 2005.

While Kiran is 41 now, Aamir Khan turned 50 earlier this year.

After years of secretly dating and evading the media, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Sozua, who met on the sets of Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003, tied the knot in 2012.

You may find it incredible that Genelia D'Souza is 27 while her actor-producer hubby is 36.
