'I fought with him several times, but he is a superb guy.'
In a surprise mid-week midnight eviction, Rapper Akash Dadlani's journey in the Bigg Boss house came to an end.
Akash -- or A-Cash as he preferred to be known -- made his way to the Bigg Boss house to make a name for himself as a rapper, labelling himself a complete entertainment package.
He was full of energy and spontaneity. There was never a dull moment with A-Cash in the house.
He showed his creative side by composing tracks like Bang Bang, Money Money and the season favourite, Yeh Bigg Bigg Ka Ghar Hai.
While he was often mocked by the housemates, A-Cash took every moment as it came and enjoyed it to its fullest.
Right from the start, he got along with Puneesh Sharma and the story of their Bromance took shape. They were tagged the Pagal Premi Jodi of the season!
A-Cash found a close friend in Arshi Khan and often referred to Shilpa Shinde as his 'Maa'.
Every celebrity who walked through the doors of the Bigg Boss house met A-Cash and grooved to his rap.
A-Cash tells Rajul Hegde about his 100 days in the Bigg Boss house
What is the first thing you did after coming out of the house?
I had a house party with my sister -- she has come down from the US -- my mom, grandmom, Arshi Khan and Bandagi Kalra.
Are you disappointed that you got evicted in the finale week?
I had expected myself to be in the house for a month, but I stuck around till the finale week.
That itself is an achievement -- to have survived on the show with really popular celebrities.
Yes, it was disheartening to leave the show at this point. But I am glad I stayed in the house for 100 days.
Just like Sachin Tendulkar I had a century in the house (laughs).
I had a great time. All the celebrities who came to promote their films on the show said good things about my rap.
What was it like being locked inside the house?
I felt like I was in boarding school.
I didn't spend time with my family that much, so it was like joint family time with different cultures and lifestyles.
It was very enjoyable, and fun.
I may have done things which were not correct, but I played the game all alone and did it all by myself.
The show was giving me so much and I wanted to give back to the show.
My journey was amazing.
I think everyone should experience Bigg Boss once in their lifetime because over there every contestant is equal. There is no celebrity or commoner.
Was it your strategy to annoy people in the house?
I did all these things for the cameras.
Salman Khan scolded me for my behaviour, but that was for my good.
My dad passed away when I was young, so he (Salman) was like my big brother and whatever he said has worked well for me.
I was in the house to have fun, rap, fight and entertain people. And everybody got to see different sides of me.
I got four awards in the house. I feel like a star.
My song Bang Bang trended. I am an individual player, and not a double player like the others.
I was funny, my style, my clothes, everything has become a trend.
So you behave differently in real life?
I am totally different from what I was inside the Bigg Boss house.
I am a psychology student, so I knew how to generate results and stay in the limelight.
Arshi and you were often seen holding hands and sharing the same bed inside the house.
Arshi is a sexy girl and I am a cool and hot rapper.
We were best friends; we chatted, laughed, swam, went to the jacuzzi and had lots of fun.
We supported each other throughout the show.
We were the dynamic duo of Bigg Boss.
Everybody has given entertainment to the show, but Arshi and I have given the most.
Initially you had a good equation with Shilpa, but after a point she was uncomfortable with you being touchy. Both of you had a few fights too.
The first few weeks were good. Shilpa and I shared a good relationship, and used to hug, kiss and joke all the time.
I found her very loving and caring just like my mother.
I too made sure that she doesn't feel alone in the house despite being surrounded by so many others.
But after a few misunderstandings, the equations changed.
Somewhere down the line, she was feeling awkward and discussed it with Luv (Tyagi) instead of me.
When Salmanbhai took my class in the 14th week, asking me to rectify my mistakes, I went to Shilpa and apologised for my behaviour.
I also apologised when I was leaving the house. Now everything is cool.
What are you going to miss most?
I am going to miss the Kaal Kothari (the jail) most. You know how I naughty I am.
I went to jail seven times (laughs).
Who do you think will win?
Hina (Khan) was the queen of all the tasks. At times I would be happy if she was in our team.
Shilpa kept the house well, she is quite popular.
Puneesh Sharma is like my brother, so I want him to win.
But I feel Vikas Gupta will win the show as he has played the game very well.
I fought with him several times, but he is a superb guy and has done all the tasks.
I will be happy if one of them wins the show.
So what's next for you?
I am doing a song with Pavni Pandey who sang Laila Main Laila in Raees.
I am going to stay in touch with everyone, but my priority is my mom and grandmom.
My mom has retired, so I want to support my family.
