The Dabangg 3 trailer looks entertaining with a high dose of action, drama and humour, feels Namrata Thakker.

After dishing out two blockbuster films in the series, Salman Khan's Chulbul Pandey packs in a lot of swag in Dabangg 3.

Co-starring Sonakshi Sinha, the action movie is directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Arbaaz Khan.

The third installment has two new additions -- debutante Saiee Manjrekar and Kannada actor Sudeep.

The trailer starts with a bang and introduces us to 'policewala goonda' Chulbul Pandey.

He doesn't waste any time and serves up the action immediately.

Salman has some dhamakedaar, whistle-worthy dialogues, which make his character even more likeable and entertaining.

He has some funny sequences as well.

And then we see him romance not one, but two heroines.

While Sonakshi Sinha returns as his wife, we are introduced to Saiee's character, who plays Salman’s love interest.

Sonakshi has a fair amount of screen time in the trailer but it’s Saiee who really makes an impact.

She seems confident, and manages to stand out despite so many popular faces around her.

Basically, Dabangg 3 explores Chulbul Pandey’s backstory and how he ends up becoming a fearless policewala goonda.

Salman has two avatars in the trailer -- a clean shaven younger Chulbul and the older one with muscle and moustache.

Sudeep turns villain for Dabangg 3, and he matches Salman's strong screen presence.

It seems Dabangg 3 has more action, drama and romance than the first two installments.

It doesn't seem to boast much of a story but then again, neither did the earlier films.

Dabangg 3 looks interesting, and it's all thanks to Salman.

The trailer is three minutes long, the makers seem to have given out the whole story.

The Dabangg 3 trailer looks fun and offers quite a few chuckles.

The ending, especially, is hilarious.

Dabangg 3 will release on December 20. Salman fans, mark your calendars now!
