Take a bow Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Nani, Sudheer Babu and Varun Tej.

Prabhas shone in his Baahubali act and became a popular face in India.

He leads the Best Telugu Actors list, below:

Prabhas

Prabhas

His sheer physique helped him play Baahubali with elan.

Prabhas has perhaps given one of his best performances playing the happy-go lucky Sivudu, who is intrigued by the mystique of the mountainous waterfall, and what lies beyond in Baahubali.

His hard work in the film is evident. Through Baahubali, Prabhas has found national recognition which will stand him in good stead.

Everyone's already looking forward to the film's sequel.

Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu looks just as good in his role of Harsha, who goes back to his roots to adopt a village in his debut production Srimanthudu.

Being the scion of a business empire set up by his father (played by Jagapathi Babu), Harsha veers towards rural development and social upliftment.

Mahesh has tasted critical acclaim and commercial success with this film.

Nani

Nani

Nani had three releases in 2015: Yevade Subramanyam, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and the much delayed Jenda Pai Kapiraju.

He consolidated his position as a natural and bankable actor.

His Yevade Subramanyam got him critical acclaim, while Bhale Bhale Magadivoy kept the cash registers ringing.

Sudheer Babu

An emerging actor to reckon with, Sudheer had three releases in 2015: Krishnamma Kalippindi Iddarini, Mosagallaku Mosagadu and Bhale Manchi Roju.

He proved his acting mettle in Krishnamma Kalippindi Iddarini, where he had to play different stages in life.

His Mosagallaku Mosagadu may have been a washout but Bhale Manchi Roju garnered favourable reviews.

Now, this talented actor has bagged his first Hindi film Baaghi, where he has an important role to play.

Varun Tej

Varun Tej

Varun Tej proved himself in an author-backed role in Kanche.

Doing a film set in World War II is not easy, especially since it was the first to be made in Telugu cinema.

In Puri Jagannadh's Loafer, Varun played a conman. The story also boasted of a strong mother-son relationship, and Varun's performance stood out.
