The popular anchor of the TV show Idea Star Singer, Ranjini Haridas, is all set to act in her first film, the Rajesh Amanakara-directed Entry. She plays a cop in the movie. Baburaj, who is fast turning out to be a top comedian after playing the bad guy for most of his career, also plays a cop.

Entry is being produced under the banner of Athulya Productions. Ramathulasi is the cinematographer.
Ranjini says, "I have always been getting offers to do films but this one seemed really nice. These are early days of shooting and I am enjoying it. Right now, I am trying to strike a balance between my stint as an anchor and my acting career."
The film's shooting has started in Kochi.
