A scene from Kedi Billa Kelladi RangaPandiraj created history with his very first film Pasanga, produced by producer-director-actor Sasikumar of Subramaniapuram fame. Pasanga first won the Golden Elephant Award for Best Director at the 16th International Children's Film Festival in 2009.

The film was judged the best Tamil (regional) film at the national level. Pandiraj won the Rajat Kamal Award for the Best Dialogue Writer and Master Sriram and Master Kishore from the same film were chosen as best child artistes.

His next films, Vamsam and Marina were also
critically acclaimed.

His new film is titled Kedi Billa Kelladi Ranga. The director says it is laced with a lot of humour. Subtle humour has been his trademark in both Pasanga and Marina. Both films would have been tearjerkers if not for the light yet sensitive treatment by the director.

KBKR is produced by Pandiraj's Pasanga Productions and presented by P Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures.

The film stars Vimal, Sivakarthikeyan (who made an impressive debut in Marina), Bindu Madhavi and Regina.

Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Vijay, who was also behind the camera for Marina.
