First Look: Sasikumar, Prithviraj in Masters

A scene from MastersTamil actor-director-producer Sasikumar is a journalist in director Johnny Antony's Masters which also has Prithviraj playing a cop.

The film has three heroines: Pia Bajpai, who was recently seen in K V Anand's Tamil film Ko, Ananya, and Mithra Kurian.

Describing the plot, director Antony says it is a highly entertaining movie mainly about friendship. "The characters played by Prithviraj and Sasikumar have been friends since their college days and the warmth is still intact."

He has directed films such as CID Moosa, Kochi Rajavu, Thuruppugulan, Cycle and Ee Pattanathil Bhootham.

Prithviraj, who is currently also shooting for the Hindi film Aiyya is happy about the success of his recent release Indian Rupee.

Sasikumar, who had a sensational debut directing Subramaniapuram,
says that it was the script that attracted him to this film.


Masters is being produced by Sincere Cinema. The scenarist is Jinu Abraham, the camera work is by Madhu Neelakantan and Gopi Sundar has composed the music.

The shooting of the film is currently underway in Kottayam.

The film will open in theatres in December.
