Director Lal Jose, who recently made Spanish Masala, is turning producer with his new venture titled Diamond Necklace. The shooting of the film has started in Dubai with Fahadh Faasil, Samvritha Sunil, Anusree and Gauthami Nair playing the lead roles.
Dr Iqbal Kuttippuram has scripted Diamond Necklace. Sameer Thahir is the cinematographer
and Vidyasagar is the music director.
The cast also includes Sreenivasan, Rohini and Jagathy Sreekumar.
The story narrates the life of a doctor who is based in Dubai, and the three women who come into his life.
The shooting crew had to face the wrath of nature, as an unexpected 'shamaal' (desert wind) made shooting difficult. A small portion of the film will be shot in Kerala.
Diamond Necklace will hit the screens in May.
