Sonam Kapoor visited the Wagha border along with her Khoobsurat co-stars, Pakistani actor Fawad Afzal Khan and Kirron Kher, to promote their film.

Fawad shared a picture (left) and tweeted: 'yesterday, at Wagha border with @sonamakapoor & @KirronKherBJP :) Rooting for Indo-Pak peace - and for #Khoobsurat, of course! 1 day to go!' 

Meanwhile, Sonam's aunt Sridevi showered praise on the film and its cast. 'Sonam @sonamakapoor you were superb. Looked Khoobsurat as usual. Khoobsurat is a sweet heart-warming film. Amazing performances from all the actors. Good luck @RheaKapoor & the entire team,' she wrote.

Khoobsurat releases on September 19.

Shabana Azmi celebrated her 64th birthday on September 18 and Anil Kapoor wished her on Twitter.

Shah Rukh Khan recently landed in Houston with the cast of his film Happy New Year for his upcoming concert.

Co-star Sonu Sood shared a picture and tweeted: '#SlamTheTour beginsssss...our 1st stop..HOUSTON..GET READY FOR 19th..will c u soon.'

Saurabh Shukla shoots for Aur Devdas

Saurabh Shukla is the latest actor to join the cast of Sudhir Mishra's Aur Devdas, which is based on Sarat Chandra's classic novel Devdas.

Confirming the news, Shukla wrote: 'Started Shooting for Sudhir Mishra new film "AUR DEVDAS" in Lucknow... Great fun.'

The film will also star Rahul Bhatt, Richa Chadda and Aditi Rao Hydari.
