Sonu Nigam has been a household name in Karnataka for a long time now.
The Jassie Gift-composed Modala Male is a melodious song and it topped the charts in 2013.

The soundtrack of Lucia brought much needed freshness to the folk based melodies.
Thinbeda Kammi, which had the ethnic flavour of the Chamrajnagar region of Karnataka, was composed by Poornachandra.
Rendered by him and Bappi Blossom, it was a favourite with music lovers.
