Just when you wonder if Bigg Boss has any more surprises to offer, out springs London-based model-actress Sofia Hayat.
The starlet is set to enter the show as a wild card entry.
Jet-lagged and trying to catch her breath, Sofia says, “I’ve just arrived from London. On Wednesday, they asked me if I could come to Mumbai by Friday to be a part of Bigg Boss. I said it was out of the question. Then they asked if I could arrive by Monday. So I packed my bags and left, and here I am. I feel my life has been hit by a tornado.”

'People think I am one of sexiest women in the world'

“I don’t know what to expect in there and I don’t know if anything is expected from me. I hardly had time to think about it. Bigg Boss is something everybody would like to do, although they may be too scared to do it. I was actually scared. Even now, I am not sure if I can pull it off.”
Sofia has managed to catch only one episode of Bigg Boss 7 but she was an avid follower of UK's Big Brother reality show.
“I caught just one episode of the show. It is quite scary. Elli looks like a sweet girl, Arman looks like a bully. I don’t know any of the housemates.”
Sofia promises to be herself on the show.
“I do know that the way a celebrity’s life is in public is very different from her personal life. People think I am one of sexiest women in the world. I don’t see myself that way. If people think that way about me, I am happy. But I don’t look at myself in the mirror in the morning and say, ‘God, she’s hot!’"
'I am going to go to Bigg Boss to be myself'
Image: Sofia Hayat“I am going to go to Bigg Boss to be myself,” she says. “But if you have people perpetually provoking you, you are bound to react. In my everyday life, if someone shouted at me, I’d walk away. But I can’t do that in Bigg Boss. I’d have to defend myself.”
Sofia has taken three months off for the show.
“I had set aside time to go to Argentina to spend time with friends during Christmas. I am carrying my good karma to Bigg Boss. Beyond that, who knows about tomorrow? I like to live every day as it comes. I am very grateful for the gift of life since the time I lost a cousin to cancer. She was only 22.”
'When I am at tome, I have a habit of shedding my clothes when it becomes too hot'

“When I am at tome, I have a habit of shedding my clothes when it becomes too hot. I hope to remember that I am under the surveillance of cameras and keep my clothes on (smiles). In fact, I am going to write it on my wrist!” Sofia exclaims.
“If I am dragged into any issues, I will take a stand for myself. I have heard about the fights in the Bigg Boss house. If I get included in that, I will fight for myself," Sofia claims.
'People have pre-conceived notions about me'
Image: Sofia HayatSofia Hayat’s outrageous and over-the-top dressing sense is not hidden from the world. The starlet wears outfits that leave little to the imagination. Was she given any instruction regarding her attire in Bigg Boss?
“Not really,” she answers. “People have pre-conceived notions about me. It’s wonderful that people consider me sexy but I don't see myself that way. I would like them to go beyond that and look at me as a person.”
'I was planning to take a break. Instead, I am here for Bigg Boss'
Image: Sofia HayatSofia comes to India quite often.
“India is where my roots are. I was born in India. For the last two years, I’ve been here frequently because I’m working on a film called Diary Of A Butterfly. Then I did another film called Nachle London. I did two television shows as well.
“Then I went back to England to do project with the BBC, and then with the E4 television channel. I was planning to take a break. Instead, I am here for Bigg Boss.”
