The Shivaji Park crematorium, in central Mumbai, saw a sprinkling of film personalities and huge crowds, as people came to bid the legendary villain goodbye.
Pransaab's body left the Lilavati hospital, in Bandra, a western suburb of Mumbai, at 10:30 am, and reached Shivaji Park half an hour later.
Crowds of people stood outside the crematorium, and shouted slogans like 'Pran saab amar rahey' and 'Jab tak suraj chand rahega Pran saab aapka naam rahega.'
Amitabh Bachchan, who wrote a touching blog post on Pran, paid a brief visit.
