Amitabh Bachchan recently visited thespian Dilip Kumar in Mumbai's Lilavati hospital after finishing his shoot for the popular game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 7.

‘Back from a long and distant day shoot ... out in the green fields of the city .. Mumbai never looked so good .. Then ... went and visited Dilip Saheb, Yusuf Khan, Dilip Kumar my icon inspiration, who lies in hospital.. He is well and recovers !’ Bachchan updated.

Meanwhile, Dilip Kumar shared a picture of him with Bachchan and his wife Saira Banu and wrote: ‘Out of the ICU, it's good to be in the hospital suite and have @SrBachchan as a visitor.’

The 90-year-old actor, who suffered a mild heart attack is recovering well. He is expected to get discharged in couple of days.

Oscar winning director Danis Tanovic praises The Lunchbox

Academy Award-winning film director and screenwriter Danis Tanovic, who is currently working on a film starring Emraan Hashmi, and is also one of the co-producers of The Lunchbox, has come forward to support the film. 

His film An Episode in the Life of an Iron Picker has been selected as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s official entry at Oscars but he wants to see The Lunchbox at the Oscars instead. 

‘Today, movie I directed was chosen to represent BiH at Oscars. If I could only give my place to #Lunchbox,’ the 44-year-old filmmaker tweeted.

Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap has deleted his Twitter page. Before deleting, Kashyap had expressed his disappointment at India’s decision to send Gujarati film The Good Road as India’s official entry at the Oscars.

Olympic bronze-medalist Vijender Singh recently wrapped up the first schedule of his debut Bollywood film Fugly in Ladakh. The film is produced by Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi's Grazing Goat Pictures.

Yardi shared a picture from the shoot and tweeted: ‘Here's an exclusive pic of world champion, Vijender Singh at a monastery in Leh during the 1st sched of @FuglyTheFilm.’ 

She shared another picture with the director Kabir Sadanand and added: ‘With director @kabirsadanand in the beautiful Leh during the 1st sched of @FuglyTheFilm. Next sched in Nov in Delhi.’ 

Buzz is that Anil and Boney Kapoor’s newphew Mohit Marwah will also star in this social-thriller.

Popular television serial Bade Acche Lagte Hain has taken a seven years leap with the audience seeing a grownup Pihu, Pari and Myrah. While some of the cast members have changed, there are some new faces.

Actor Ram Kapoor, who still plays the male lead in the show opposite Sakshi Tanwar, shared a picture of the present cast together and tweeted: ‘The old faces...and some new faces also.... The Balh family’ 

Buzz is that Fenil Umrigar, who is currently seen as the grownup Pihu, might soon get replaced. While 
Vinti Idlani plays the grownup Myrah, Pragati Choursiya is seen as the new Pari.
