Madhuri Dixit remembers her father

Madhuri Dixit, who lost her father Shankar Dixit last week, returned to Twitter to thank her fans for their support and remembered her father.

‘Here's to you dad: we love you and miss you and know you will always be with us in our hearts!’ the 46-year-old actress tweeted.

‘Me and dad!’ she added with the picture

Thanking her fans, she wrote: ‘Thank u for standing by me and giving support. Our family is coming to terms with the loss. His memory lives on in our hearts.’

After making a hit pairing with Sanjay Dutt in the Munnabhai series, Arshad Warsi will be seen as Sunny Deol’s partner in Neeraj Pathak’s action-comedy Bhaiyaaji Superhit.

Arshad, who is currently shooting in Udaipur for the film, tweeted: ‘Shot with Sunny Deol yesterday for the first time. What a fabulously calm & pleasant person he is. It's going to be a treat working with him.’

‘Name of the film is BHAIYAJI SUPERHIT and the male leads are Sunny Deol @shreyastalpade1 & myself. It's an action comedy,’ he added.

The film will also star Preity Zinta and Ameesha Patel.

Anurag Kashyap reunites with Amit Trivedi for Bombay Velvet

Music composer Amit Trivedi, who got his Bollywood break in Anurag Kashyap’s Dev D, is composing the music for his magnum opus Bombay Velvet.

The music of the film is said to be reminiscent of the golden sounds of 1960s.

‘Recording our big song with Amit Trivedi..Neeti Mohan rocking it,’ Kashyap tweeted.

He shared a picture (above) of them together and added: ‘Recording of the song of 2014 Amit, Amitabh , Neeti and me.’  

Bombay Velvet stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.

Bipasha wraps up Creature

Bipasha Basu, who recently signed Sajid Khan’s upcoming multi-starrer Humshakals, has finished shooting for Vikram Bhatt’s Creature 3D.

‘Thank u to Vikram n the entire crew of Creature3D! Was so loved n pampered on the set:) The lil Girlies on set Nikita n Krishna gave me yummy red velvet cheesecake n gulab jamuns :) Last day! Will miss everyone lots!’ she tweeted with a picture (above) of her. 

Meanwhile, Ameesha Patel is busy shooting for her next film Desi Magic in Patiala. ‘Hey tweethearts.unbearable heat in patiala..shooting in the hot sun..but awesome scenes filmes for Desi Magic..’ she updated.

Minissha Lamba, who is all set to make her debut in Punjabi cinema with Heer & Hero, shared the latest poster of the film and tweeted: ‘Another new poster from #Heer&Hero. Juggling the men in my life. Tee hee hee’ 

Meanwhile, bombshell Mallika Sherawat met the Maharaja of Udaipur, Shriji Arvind Singh.

She shared a picture of them together and tweeted: ‘Thank you Shriji Arvind Singh Ji, Maharaja of Udaipur for being such a gracious host:)’
