She also shared a picture of author Chetan Bhagat and tweeted: ‘And of course decorating the tree with Santa Bhagat! #kick #christmas’

Priyanka Chopra is presently holidaying in Europe with her family.

She shared a picture and tweeted: ‘Drenched and sun soaked... Hey lil girl.’

She shared another picture of herself with brother Siddharth and added: ‘Glad to be all smiles with my brother.. Family time.. And lots of sun n sand!!!!’

After Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, it’s Akshay Kumar's turn to shoot with Karan Johar for his popular chat show Koffee With Karan.

Karan Johar shared a picture from the sets and tweeted: ‘Akshay Kumar in the Koffee house today!!!’

Akshay Kumar added: ‘Not a coffee drinker but here I am on the sets of #KoffeeWithKaran,with Karan trying his best to make it a steaming one :)’

Noted lyricist Javed Akhtar will receive the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award this year.

His wife and actress Shabana Azmi tweeted: ‘Javed Sb wins the Sahitya Academy Award previously won by his father Jannisar Akhtar and my dad Kaifi Azmi. Such a proud moment for d family.’

His son Farhan Akhtar wrote: ‘Congratulations to you and the other recipients of the Sahitya Akademi Award.’

Hindi novelist Mridula Garg and renowned Bengali poet Subodh Sarkar will also receive the award.

Filmmaker Pooja Bhatt turned to Twitter to vent out against reality show Bigg Boss 7 and its contestant Armaan Kohli. 

‘Armaan Kohli arrested, out on bail & now BACK in the house?! What's worse is the attempt to assassinate Sofia's 'character' & intent by most! Why is that each time a woman stands up to a male bully she is put in the dock herself? Saddened by the comments of some former contestants!’ she tweeted.

‘What is the schizophrenic message we are giving out through #BB7 Fight violence against women in life but abuse & intimidate them on TV? Also,why has no senior police officer made any comment on this entire fracas on #BB7? Highly suspicious.  To those who say 'Sofia did this for publicity' I ask-why was Armaan so intimidating in the first place? Because it is his inherent nature? If this arrest & bail drama on #BB7 is a publicity stunt it's abysmal. If it's not, it's even more so. TV & we have just hit an all time low,’ she added.

Sofia Hayat, on the other hand, thanked Bhatt and wrote: ‘thankyou so much for your support. Means a lot. your words are inspiring and true..that's why I'm making a stand..not just for myself but for all women who have faced abuse.’
