Rani Mukerji makes a beautiful bride in her movies.

We may have missed Rani Mukerji's bridal look, thanks to the wedding being far, far away in Italy.

So we decided to look back at Rani's onscreen dulhan avatars, to remind ourselves of how pretty she looks in all that finery:

Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna

Rani Mukerji played a Punjabi bride in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, and married her onscreen best friend Abhishek Bachchan.

Red certainly suits this Bengali girl.

Rani played a Rajasthani bride in Paheli.

She marries the son of a rich merchant (played by Shah Rukh Khan), who leaves for a business trip soon after.

Later, she falls in love with a ghost, who takes the form of her husband.

Rani's reel-life marriages are not always made in heaven.

In Baabul, she gets married to Salman Khan's character, who dies in an accident.

She then tries to piece her life together with her in-laws (Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini) and her best friend (John Abraham).

In Hum Tum, Rani has another Punjabi-style wedding with Abhishek Bachchan.

Unfortunately, it doesn't last long, as he dies.

Rani's court marriage with Vivek Oberoi's character runs into trouble soon after the wedding, as she feels he doesn't care for her as much any more.

Only here, all's well that ends well.

Rani plays an escort in Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, who meets Abhishek Bachchan in Zurich, when she is with a client.

When Rani’s younger sister (Konkona Sen Sharma) is about to get married to Kunal Kapoor, Rani learns that her brother-in-law will be Abhishek.

Even though Abhishek knows about her past, he proposes to her and both sisters get married on the same day.

Like in Saathiya, Rani's marriage runs into trouble soon after, as her truck-driver husband (Shah Rukh Khan) cannot keep up with her family's high standards.

In her very first Hindi film, Rani played a bride to Amjad Khan's son Shadaab Khan in Raja Ki Ayegi Baarat.

Rani's character gets raped by Khan, and the court forces them to marry within 24 hours.
