Ayesha Takia gives birth to a baby boy

Ayesha Takia, who was last seen hosting reality show Sur Kshetra on television, gave birth to a baby boy in Mumbai over the weekend.

Her hotelier husband Farhan Azmi tweeted: ‘"Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar" it's a BOY!!’

Ayesha, on the other hand, thanked everyone and wrote: ‘abufarhanazmi , Me and our son Thank u alll sooo much n much lov 2 all of u 4 the many blessings n gud wishes we recieved.god bless.’

Shah Rukh Khan, who had gone all out to promote his superhero film Ra.One, explained why he made it.

‘To have the wisdom to risk our security for a dream at least once in life. Once to say, i didn't just exist, i lived & honoured my heart,’ the 48-year-old actor tweeted.

Veteran actor Dharmendra celebrated his 78th birthday on December 8 with his family.

His wife and actress Hema Malini tweeted: ‘Age does not matter,1 has to be child-like always, like Dharamji who was so excited to receive a gift from me for his birthday last evening,’ she tweeted.

‘It's a great feeling when things happen on time. Happy to see my children's friends getting engaged and settling down,’ she added.
