Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan celebrated her 66th birthday on April 9 with her family.

Husband Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: 'Entire family here .. such a joy .. a quiet private dinner to bring in Jaya's birthday with Abhi, Ash, Shweta and grandchildren !!'

Jaya will to return to acting with a television show, based on Gujarati author Kajal Oza Vaidya’s novel Yog Viyog.

Bipasha Basu, who is reportedly going to marry beau Harman Baweja this year, has started looking for a new house.

She shared a picture with her mother and tweeted: 'Mom & Me ! Hunting for a new house again :) Phewwww!'

Basu will be next seen in Sajid Khan's Humshakals.

After composing the music for Hollywood films, Slumdog Millionaire and 127 hours, A R Rahman is busy composing the background score for Disney’s upcoming film Million Dollar Arm.

Confirming the news, Rahman tweeted: 'Have been busy finishing the soundtrack album of Million Dollar Arm. It features collaborations with Iggy, Kendrick Lamar (in the movie only), KT Tunstall , Sukhwinder Singh, Raghav Mathur...And a surprise Tamil song from my 90s collection, during the end credits, featuring K S Chithra and Unnikrishnan... And of course, lots of underscore...'

The film will release on May 9.

Shabana Azmi, who was recently in Chennai for an event, had a fun time with director Mani Ratnam's wife Suhasini Radhika.

She shared a picture of them and tweeted: 'Suhasini Radhika and me playing the fool in Chennai. Friendship that goes back many years bcoz of same worldview.'
