In a shocking revelation, it has been reported that veteran Hollywood star Robert De Niro's father [painter] Robert DeNiro was gay!
The New York Post reveals that Niro Sr had flings with painter Jackson Pollock and playwright Tennessee Williams, though his partner remained poet Robert Duncan.
John Baxter, author of De Niro: A Biography, said De Niro Sr was a 'lifelong homosexual', who took a 'brief lull' during the time he married De Niro's mother, [painter] Virginia Admiral, during World War II.
De Niro's spokesperson has refused to comment.
