Is an actress' movie career over when she gets married?

Well, not any more.

And not if you are Yami Gautam!

The actress, who wed her Uri Director Aditya Dhar in June, has an interesting line-up of movies coming up.

Joginder Tuteja presents Yami's releases.

The horror comedy is Yami's next big release. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Dasvi

Announced during the first wave of the pandemic and completed in quick time, Dasvi sees Yami play Jyoti Deswal, a Haryanvi IPS officer.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the social comedy sees Abhishek Bachchan play a powerful character while Nimrat Kaur is a politician.

A Thursday

A Wednesday was an excellent suspense thriller. A Thursday seems to be taking forward the spirit of the Naseeruddin Shah-Anupam Kher-Jimmy Sheirgill tale.

Yami plays a playschool teacher who takes 16 children hostage. Why she does that will be answered by Director Behzad Khambata who earlier made Blank.

Neha Dhupia plays a cop. Dimple Kapadia also has a pivotal part.

Lost

Lost is an investigative drama in which Yami plays a crime reporter. It is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury (P.I.N.K).

Lost has an ensemble cast: Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee and Tushar Pandey.

Raat Baaki Hai (tentative title)

Aditya Dhar was supposed to make his debut with Fawad Khan and Katrina Kaif in Raat Baaki Hai.

Aditya, it appears, is reviving the film, this time with wife Yami stepping in for Katrina.

Who will replace Fawad? Pratik Gandhi, the star of Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story.

OMG - Oh My God 2

One wonders if this casting decision will indeed happen.

Audiences have been waiting for an official announcement of the sequel to the Akshay Kumar-Paresh Rawal starrer, OMG - Oh My God.

It's a known fact that the new film will star Akshay and Pankaj Tripathi.

The female lead is reportedly going to be played by Yami Gautam.
