The biggest stars of the South film industry attended the 62nd South Filmfare awards, recently held at the Nehru Indoor stadium in Chennai.

Bringing her A-game to the red carpet was Shruti Haasan, who won the Best Actress award for her turn in Telugu film Race Gurram, in a dramatic Abu Jani and Sandep Khosla lehenga that she paired with a striking bustier.

Meanwhile, her actor father and Papanasam leading man Kamal Haasan was on stage presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to I V Sasi along side his Malayalam counterpart Mammootty.

Dhanush, who picked up the Best Actor award for his turn in Tamil film Velaiyilla Pattathari, shook a leg with his Aadukalam costar Taapsee Pannu.
