The 93rd Annual Academy awards was held across two venues in Hollywood -- the Dolby Theatre and Union Station -- and saw a lot of glamour on the red carpet.

Though the ceremony will have no host this year, last year's winners like Joaquin Phoenix to Brad Pitt will present awards on stage.

Here's a look at the starry turnout on the red carpet.

Regina King has directed this year's Oscar-nominated film, One Night In Miami.

She started the Oscar ceremony with a rousing speech: 'It has been quite a year, and we are still smack dab in the middle of it.

'We are mourning the loss of so many, and I have to be honest, if things had gone differently this past week in Minneapolis, I may have traded in my heels for marching boots,' she said, referring to former cop Derek Chauvin being convicted for the murder of George Floyd.
