Ramu sees potential in Tusshar

Ram Gopal Varma's magical touch gave a new lease of life to Urmila Matondkar and Fardeen Ram Gopal VarmaKhan's sagging careers.

Now, the ace filmmaker is showing a keen interest in the hero of Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai (Kareena Kapoor) and Kucch To Hai (Esha Deol, Natassha) -- Tusshar Kapoor. A meeting between the two took place recently at Varma's office.

Insiders suggest there is a strong possibility of Varma casting Kapoor in his forthcoming film.

International spotlight for Vivek & Co

Rekha, Vivek Oberoi, Milind Soman and models Sheetal Mallar and Vidisha Pavate will feature in the foVivek Oberoirthcoming all-star annual September issue of the international magazine Conde Nast Traveler. Actresses Preity Zinta and Raveena Tandon were also approached, but they have yet to confirm their availability for the shoot.

Celebrated photographer Gavin Bond will be behind the lenses. Bond's credits include covers for Vogue, Vanity Fair and Marie Claire. The entire shoot will be produced in India by filmmaker Riyad Vinci Wadia.

John Galliano, Versace and Yves Saint-Laurent will constitute the wardrobe.

Another film for Jha

After receiving flak for his directorial debut Praan Jaye Par Shaan Naa Jaye (Raveena Tandon, Namrata Shirodkar, Divya Dutta, Dia Mirza), Sanjay Jha has signed Vijay Sekhar's untitled film for Shikhar Creations.

The cast is still being finalised.

Shakti Kapoor's mShakti Kapooroney stolen

On a visit to Zurich, Switzerland, last week to meet son Chiranjeev, actor Shakti Kapoor was relieved of US $7,000 and his credit cards.

At the airport, Kapoor was horrified to discover that the briefcase containing the money was missing from the trolley carrying his luggage.
