Yes, Mukesh, the legendary singer, did act in a few movies!

"Never did we imagine a time like this would come," Neil Nitin Mukesh tells Subhash K Jha.

"I am taking each day as it comes. Keeping myself busy with writing, composing, sketching and teaching my daughter new words. My wife is managing the kitchen."

Neil is not watching too many films.

"I am not really movie-binging, but seeing some that I had to catch up on."

On his must-watch list is his grandfather's -- the illustrious singer Mukesh -- stint as an actor.

"Not too many know that my grandfather played the hero in Nirdosh, Anurag and Adab Arz in the 1950s. This quarantine has given me a chance to discover my grandfather as an actor," Neil says.

"We have a routine. I keep work hours for myself, then I work out which includes cleaning of the house. Meal times are in place. I am keeping myself so occupied with home errands that by the end of day, I am too tired to think about getting restless."

Neil's advice to folks tied down at home?

"The only advice would be stay home, stay safe and keep yourself creatively occupied."

"Play memory games, board games, puzzles... read a lot."

"Most importantly, retrospect."

"In the madness to keep up with the fast-paced madness of day-to-day living, let's not forget our basic needs, values and necessity."

"The key to good living are love and respect and simplicity. Let us rediscover these qualities during these troubled times."
