Say hello to Banita Sandhu!
Shoojit Sircar's October has Varun Dhawan opposite a new leading lady.
Banita Sandhu is from Wales, UK, and has done some ads like the one last year for Wrigley's Doublemint.
Shoojit directed that ad which featured a song Ek Ajnabee Haseena Se picturised on Banita.
'When it comes to romance, it is always beautiful to see a fresh pairing,' Shoojit says in a statement.
'Something about seeing their chemistry blossom through the reels of the film makes you feel a part of their journey from the very beginning,' the director adds.
'For October that was one of the main reasons why I chose Banita for the lead role opposite Varun.'
Shoojit has cast newcomers before -- from Minissha Lamba in Yahaan and Yami Gautam and Ayushmann Khuranna in Vicky Donor.
This will be Shoojit's third collaboration with writer Juhi Chaturvedi after Vicky Donor and Piku.
