'It's a dream come true.'
Television actor Amika Shail, who plays Vayu Pari in SAB TV's Baal Veer Returns, makes her movie debut in Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb.
Directed by Raghava Lawrence, Laxmmi Bomb is the official remake of the 2011 Tamil horror film Kanchana,
"It's my first film and a dream come true," Amika tells Hitesh Harisinghani/Rediff.com.
Amika is a trained singer and started singing at the age of five.
"I was fascinated by the television industry right from the time I participated in singing reality shows. I came to Mumbai with the goal of being a singer, but acting drew me towards itself," she says.
Amika can't stop raving about Akshay Kumar: "He is very disciplined and down to earth. I loved working with him."
