The legendary Kamal Haasan dons many hats -- he is an acclaimed actor, director, producer, writer, singer, lyricist, choreographer and philanthropist.
He turns 62 on November 7.

Named Parthasarathy, Kamal Haasan started acting when he was only five years old.
He won the President’s Gold medal for his heartrending performance as a child artist in his very first film Kalathur Kannamma.

Kamal is currently working on a spy comedy titled Sabaash Naidu, which is being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The actor has also written the screenplay and is directing the film. His elder daughter Shruti plays a significant role in it.
