Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha has postponed its release again.
The film, which had been pushed from Christmas 2021 to Valentine's Day 2022, has now been pushed ahead to a new date that has not been locked yet.
The delay, it seems, is due to the special effects required for Aamir's role, as the film traces his journey from India's Independence to present-day India.
"Aamir goes through several facial and physical transformations. He will play from age 20 to 80 and the prosthetics and VFX are taking more time than expected," a source tells Subhash K Jha.
The film has been directed by Advait Chandan, and co-stars Kareena Kapoor.
