Rupesh Paul, the director of KamaSutra 3 D, will attend the 66th Cannes Film Festival along with his lead actress Sherlyn Chopra to release the second official trailer of the film.
The first teaser of the movie has been a huge hit.
Other than KamaSutra 3D, Bombay Talkies, an anthology directed by Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee, and Amit Kumar’s Monsoon Shootout will also be screened at the festival.
Rupesh Paul spoke of what
his plans are at Cannes.
“Other than the release of the second official trailer in 3D, there will be a special screening of the uncut version for the first schedule for buyers. We have a special booth in the Cannes Marche Du section to promote our film.
“The promotional plans include distribution of mementos of different Kamasutra positions depicted in Khajuraho statues, to everyone who attends the film festival.”
The book Harischandra to KamaSutra 3D- 100 Years of Indian Cinema by S Dutta will also be released at Cannes on May 20. Its subject is the history of erotica in Indian cinema.
