More than two decades on as an onscreen devil, this action star refuses to slow down!

Back in 1997 when Ajay Devgn's claim to fame was on screen daredevilry, he told Rediff.com, "It's a bit difficult to pinpoint how many (times I've been injured): my ankle has been broken twice, my hip bone, all my ribs, practically very bone in my body has been broken.

"I enjoy performing stunts and I don't get scared."

Twenty years later, the National-Award winning talent still doesn't show any signs of worry or fatigue.

This year, we saw the actor return to his favourite genre in full steam.

After his adrenaline pumping turn in Singham Returns, Devgn is ready to dole out high octane dose of martial arts and sword fighting sequences in the aptly titled Action Jackson.

With its release coming up this Friday, here's looking at 10 of his most action-packed moments on screen.

Phool Aur Kaante

One of the most smashing introduction scenes of all times, Devgn made his debut in style, balancing both legs on simultaneously vrooming bikes.

He repeated the act with cars and horses in films like Golmaal Returns and Son of Sardaar.

Jigar

In this Kickboxer, Bloodsport rip-off, the actor channels his inner Van Damme to engage in desi kung fu and fistfights in a gritty finish.

Vijaypath

Keeping the over-the-top tone of vendetta flick Vijaypath intact, Devgn gets on top of yet another fast-moving bike and then leaps in the most super heroic fashion to break bones.

The bad guy's, duh!

Kachche Dhaage

One of the coolest bits about Kachche Dhaage, apart from Devgn's spunky chemistry with Saif Ali Khan, involves an insane stunt on a speeding goods train with the star clasping against a wheel set while dragging through the tracks.

Ishq

Even a comic moment relies on Ajay Devgn's gutsy reputation to walk between two multistoried buildings on a shaky pipe.

Sure enough this is an Indra Kumar film and things end on a silly note.

Lajja

Sunny Deol wasn't the only one to take on an army in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.

That same year (2001), a solitary, swashbuckling Devgn battles a band of goons armed with nothing except a sickle-like weapon in hand.

Khakee

Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Tusshar Kapoor chase Devgn in a dramatic scene in Rajkumar Santoshi's cop drama.

Aakrosh

Devgn rolls under a moving train with ease during an astonishing stunt of not-so-astonishing movie.

Singham

Brawn power hits another level after Devgn's hotheaded super cop Bajirao Singham pulls out a lamppost single-handedly to beat the daylights out of a bunch of eve-teasers.

Singham Returns

Devgn's kinetic stamina comes in handy as he jumps out of a jeep window to shoot his target or lift a heavy henchman and swirl him across the room like a log in Singham's equally successful sequel.
