Bollywood producer Jhammu Sugandh passed away this morning. The veteran filmmaker, who was in his late 50s, suffered a brain haemorrhage last night and was admitted at a Juhu hospital, in the Western suburb of Mumbai.
At around 11:20 am, he suffered another stroke, and passed away.
Sugandh is known for producing many films including Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra's Aks and Buddhadev Dasgupta's Kaalpurush. His last project was Jaane
Unfortunately, he suffered huge financial losses two years ago, and could not recover from that. The film was stalled for a year, and finally Aamir took up the production reins to save the film. Jaane Tu will now release on July 6.
