'If he is really married and those pictures and videos are genuine, what is the need to hide?'
Social media went on an overdrive on Wednesday after pictures of Bigg Boss 10 winner Manveer Gurjar's purported wedding surfaced online.
Manveer came under the scanner as his honest nature on the show has suddenly turned questionable. Throughout the show, he managed to keep his marriage a secret.
During an episode, Manveer had said that he had fled from his home in Noida due to familial pressure to get married. He had also apparently revealed to co-contestant Bani that he had a three-year-old daughter named Vibhisha.
When we got in touch with Manveer’s father, he said, "Manveer's marriage news is fake. The picture you are talking about is of his elder bother, not Manveer."
When we asked Manveer's BFF on Bigg Boss 10, Manju Punjabi, if he knew about the wedding, he said, "He has never mentioned his marriage to me. If he had mentioned it to me or someone else in the house, the makers would have definitely aired it, as this news would have made for good content."
When told that Manveer’s father claimed the pictures floating about online are of his brother's, Manu said he needed to confirm this with the senior before making any comment.
"If he is really married and those pictures and videos are genuine, what is the need to hide?" he asked.
Manveer remained unavailable for comment.
