Shilpa Shetty : both very special films. because they had different roles to offer me. one had my sister to work with, and the other was action-oriented, and my first multistarrer. difficult to choose.

Shilpa Shetty : just had to be fit, and agile. I accomplished that by doing some intensive body training.

Shilpa Shetty : my height is my asset. it's never stopped me from working with shorter heroes!

Shilpa Shetty : right now, I haven't decided what my next film is going to be, but I will know in a month's time which projects I'm going to sign on, on the basis of good scripts
shashi : hi shilpa what do u think.... are the ppl from film fraternity normal ppl?? or do they live in a completly different world of their own?
Shilpa Shetty : of course we're normal people. We don't have horns on our head. We just live in extraordinary circumstances. It's your perception of how you want to see us. I don't know about the others, but at least I am!

Shilpa Shetty : I'm glad you asked this question. It's the same question that my parents ask me, and I haven't been able to answer them. A lot of my interviews have been misconstrued, making it looks like I'm bridegroom-hunting, but that's not the case! I'm just setting the record straight. The day it happens, you'll be the first to know. It'll be on rediff!
Indian : maam, i wish to ask you --- how have you evolved as an actress and a human since entering bollywood..
Shilpa Shetty : every day is a learning lesson, and matured with every experience. I live my life with the philosophy of 'everything happens for the best'.
sujoy : Do you wish to sign up for a bangali movie?
Shilpa Shetty : yeah sure. Language is no bar as far as art is concerned. I'd like to try my hand at acting in all languages.

AngelOfTruth : Shilpa, you're very pretty. There's something I always wanted to ask you. The Jain brothers of Venus are notorious for their casting couch. How was your experience being launched by them in 'Baazigar'?
Shilpa Shetty : Didn't need to answer this question. But I liked your login name, so it was the most amazing experience. The casting couch exists if you come across it and succumb to it. I've been lucky, haven't faced either. The Jain brothers are the most decent people, and I can vouch for that. My association with them has been since the last 12 years, with 4 films down - I have no complaints! :)

Shilpa Shetty : for starters, considering I had no formal training or anyone from the industry, it means it was destiny. Other than that, the feeling of being in front of the camera is truly unfathomable. Gives me a great high.
