Randeep Hooda has undergone a drastic transformation for his biopic Sarbjit.

Director Omung Kumar praised him on Twitter and wrote: ‘@RandeepHooda salute to your dedication, lost 18kgs in 28 days, making a statement #Sarbjit.’

The biopic is based on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan, and sentenced to death. It will also feature Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Richa Chadda and Darshan Kumaar.

Ritesh Sidhwani: No disruption on Raees set in Bhuj

Memebers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) recently protested against the shooting of Shah Rukh Khan's film Raees in Bhuj.

But producer Ritesh Sidhwani ‏clarifies that there is no disruption on set. ‘No disruption on #Raees set in #Bhuj shooting on schedule with full cooperation from government & police force,’ Sidhwani tweeted.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the film also stars Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Noted sitar player Anoushka Shankar, who is nominated in the Best World Music Album category for her solo album Home at the 58th Grammy awards, will also present a trophy at the ceremony.
