Box Office: Jazbaa opens well

Good news for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan fans.

With no other big films releasing on the same day, Jazbaa made most of the opportunity and fared well at the box office over the weekend. Lack of appreciation, however, will limit it to an avarage status.

Talvar has been much appreciated, and has done well in its first week. 

Trade analyst Vinod Mirani gives us the box office verdict for the week.

Jazbaa

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Jazbaa

Cast: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Irrfan, Atul Kulkarni, Shabana Azmi

Director: Sanjay Gupta.

What works: Strong acting from Irrfan, Atul Kulkarni and Shabana Azmi.

What doesn't: Too many histrionics, bad dialogues, poor direction.

Number of weeks: New.

BO verdict: Has a good start.

Hum Sab Ullu Hain
