‘Shammi Kapoor never got recognised by the government’

Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor received the Dadasaheb Phalke award on Sunday, May 10, and several stars took to Twitter to congratulate and tweet their views:

Actress Pooja Bedi, who turned 45 on May 11, celebrated her birthday with family and friends.

Lara Dutta reunites with Akshay Kumar

Lara Dutta Bhupathi has started shooting for her next film Singh Is Bling with Akshay Kumar.

‘Up in the hour of Bhraman for an early start to our shoot!#SinghIsBling. Hopefully the foot has healed enough for some @PDdancing style moves,’ she tweeted.

Directed by Prabhu Dheva, the film will also star Amy Jackson. It is sequel to the 2008 film Singh Is Kinng.

'3 years back, I was born on celluloid'

Arjun Kapoor's debut film Ishaqzaade, costarring Parineeti Chopra, completes three years on May 11.

Recalling his experience, he tweeted: ‘Thank u for showering all the love & making me feel special about being in the industry for 3 yrs. So happy birthday to me 11th may 3 years back I was born on celluloid...6 films & 3 years later still feels surreal.’

‘Thank u to all of u for all the love and unconditional support I am nothing without all of u,’ he added.
