Born in Jeddah, Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar hails from a musical family and holds a degree in electronic and relecommunications engineering.
In 2012, Tejasswi made her acting debut with 2612, which aired on Life OK channel.
It was only in 2015 that she became a household name, thanks to her character Ragini Maheshwari in the hit Colors TV show, Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Asur.
The 29 year old went on to act in many successful shows like Pehredaar Piya Ki, Karn Sangini and Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya.
Apart from television shows, Tejasswi has done quite a few music videos. In 2019, she made her digital debut with VOOT's Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka.
Last year, Ms Prakash participated in Rohit Shetty's adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 10.
She quit the game show early due to an eye injury.
