There's a filmi face for almost every occasion, says Sukanya Verma.

Move over Bee Gees. Why use words when emoticons can do all the talking?

Where the texting world is concerned, a bulk of the conversation relies on a wide range of smileys to digitally communicate their innermost thoughts.

It's a fun idea boosted by a potential for endless themes.

Only recently, Bollywood stars Sonam Kapoor and Sunny Leone released a personal line of emojis for their fans to enjoy.

With its undying penchant for melodrama and OTT, Hindi films are tailor-made for the emoji treatment.

There's a face for almost every occasion.

We thought of a few, here goes:

When feeling betrayed, left out, sidelined or discarded and wish to guilt trip the person responsible for making you feel this way.

When you're late for a job interview and break your glasses in a crowded Mumbai local.

When you miss the annual Zara sale.

When someone says you look like Christian Bale from certain angles.

When you learn you've got the most number of followers among all your friends on Twitter.

When not a single person shows up for your pajama party.

When someone baits the latent Sunny Deol in you.

When friends describe hummus as chole ki chutney.

When someone sends a text that reads 'R v on 4 BKD?'

When your friend sends mouth-watering pictures of your favourite dish and you're stuck with bhindi.

When the smartest kid in class wants to study Sanskrit with you.

When she calls you 'cuddly as a bear.'

When you can't see the latest episode of Game of Thrones because mom is watching her favourite soap.

When a friend gives away the spoiler from a movie you're planning to catch later in the night.

When your BFF tells you he got the same iPhone for half the price from an online sale.

When gym mate reveals she's lost five kilos in a week minutes after you got off the weighing scale that shows just the opposite for you.

When a friend urges you to quit smoking.

When you learn onion prices have gone up YET again.
