Nani bounces back
Nani made a mark in the Telugu film industry by choosing good films. He has also worked in Tamil films.
Though his last two films, Paisa (Telugu) and Aaha Kalyanam (Tamil), did not fare well at the box office, Nani is ready with two back-to-back Ugadi festival releases: Jenda Pai Kapiraju (the long-delayed film of Samuthirakani) and Yevade Subrahmanyam, directed by a newcomer Nag Ashwin.
Nani plays his first double-role in Jendapai Kapiraju.
Film with found footage
In 2010, six friends who went into the jungle with a camera disappeared.
The camera was found by the forest department and all the footage shot by one of the six has been edited into a film with the permission of the forest department.
This ‘new’ film has been titled Chitram Kadu Nijam (It’s not Cinema but Reality).
Good Cinema Group, which is behind films such as Ee Rojullo, Romance, Villa and Sri Shailendra is jointly producing Chitram Kadu Nijam.
