The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who turns 41 on November 1, got an unusual birthday present from director Sanjay Gupta.
Gupta, who will direct the actress in her comeback film Jazbaa, burnt the midnight oil to put together a teaser trailer for her.
"It was an idea that came to me very late. Why not put together a three-minute teaser of Jazbaa and present it to her?" Gupta says.
“I made sure she didn’t get to know about it as I slogged for 18 hours a day to get it ready in time.”
The teaser of Jazbaa is one of the many gifts lined up for Aishwarya on her birthday.
We hear hubby Abhishek went birthday shopping for his wife in Dubai when he was there for the premiere of his new film Happy New Year.
Their daughter Aaradhyaa has been putting together a card especially designed for the occasion.
A source close to the Bachchan parivar says, “This year Aishwarya has a lot to celebrate. Her husband’s new film is a superhit, and Aishwarya is ready to make a comeback to acting with Sanjay Gupta’s Jazbaa."
A member revealed, “No big bash has been planned. Ash will be with Abhishek, her parents, brother and bhabhi, Abhishek’s parents and Aaradhyaa. A trip to the temple is also on the anvil. Other than that, Aishwarya is in no mood for a big celebration."
