Kannan was an assistant of Mani Ratnam and has learnt quality filmmaking from him. His first film Jayam Kondan was a successful film. He is young and energetic and was interested in doing the film. That is why we have chosen him.

How different or similar will the Tamil remake be from the Hindi film?

The Tamil version will have the basic qualities/scenes of the Hindi film without much change. However, it will integrate Tamil culture well along with entertainment values.
