7. Race
Most of our directors have realised that copying any one DVD just isn't enough anymore, so they filch plotpoints from a collection of discs, ideally from the same genre ballpark. So Abbas-Mastan's Race, hands-down one of the year's silliest films, stole from about four-five thrillers, and decided it would be fun to take twists from each of them.
Obviously the twists cancelled each other out, giving us a film where nothing made sense by the end. Everybody was immoral, and the cast kept telling each other, on-screen, during a melee of double-crossing, that they're pretty good actors. It's not like we'd agree, but who's listening over the din of crore-counting?
