Well known Malayalam film actress Navya Nair made her debut in Kannada films with Gaja, the first 2008 release.

She was teamed up with Darshan in this remake of the Telugu hit Bhadra. It turned out to be the biggest blockbuster of the year.

Though Navya Nair has finished work in two films -- Nam Yejamaanaru and Boss with top stars like Dr Vishnuvardhan and Darshan in 2008 -- the films will be released only this year.
