Though not much is known about the Aamir Khan production at this stage, Delhi Belly as the title suggests, deals with the core elements and essence of the city and its people. Mostly, however, the film has made news for its ever changing crew.

Originally to be directed by Swedish filmmaker Robert Nylund, but owing to creative differences with Aamir, ad filmmaker Abhinay Deo stepped in. Aamir's nephew Imran Khan too replaced Ranbir Kapoor in the film co-starring Ishq Vishq's Shenaz Treasurywala.
