Dehleez tells the story of Indu, a happily-married girl, who has to earn a living for the sake of her husband Arjun. The story revolves around the struggle and courage of a common working woman, who meets contant resistance from her family and society.
Know Priti better: Priti Gandwani, an MBA graduate from Pune, did a few commercials before she got a break in Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat as Yashoda.
"As soon as Mahabharat wrapped up, I received an offer for this role," Priti says. "What I liked about the serial is that Indu is exactly like me -- she is homely and down-to-earth."
The actress was inspired to enter showbiz, thanks to her sister Tiya, who acted in Star Plus' Saarthi.
