Shilpa plays Goutami, a professional Odissi [An Indian classical dance form] dancer who travels the globe. During one such travel assignment, she meets a Chinese artist, Jai Leang, and a love story blooms.
"It is a journey of a woman and how she gets over her desires. It is a romantic love story between an Indian dancer and a Chinese artist," Shilpa explained.
The morning of the shoot, I reached the location and saw the beautiful scenery. The vineyard provideD a spectacular vista. The crew, busy setting up for the shoot, was of south Indian origin; I could hear them talking to each other in their local language.
The atmosphere was typical of what one finds on film sets, with dozens of people running around in preparation for the shot.
One by one, all the stars stepped in, only to immediately disappear into their vanity vans. I spotted Anupam Kher and we rushed to him to talk about his role in the film.
