'There are two parallel stories in Billu'
Billu is the remake of the Malayalam hit, Kadha Parayumbol. It was remade in Tamil as Kuselan. Even though Rajnikanth essayed SRK's character in Kuselan, the film flopped at the box office.
The story traces the life of a village barber called Billu, whose childhood friend becomes a superstar Sahir Khan, played by SRK in Billu.
"There are two parallel stories in the film," Shah Rukh explains. "One is that of a superstar and the other is of a barber, and how they meet."
